All proceeds go to the Red Cross.<\/li>\n<li>Mike Watt + the missingmen will perform Watt&#8217;s 3rd opera <i>hyphenated-man<\/i> in its entirety on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kxlu.com\/\" target=\"blank\">KXLU<\/a> on May 19 at 10 PM PST.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.plan9films.com\/\" target=\"blank\">plan9films<\/a> is making a documentary about the late Vic Chesnutt tentatively titled <i>Vic Chesnutt &#8211; It Is What It Is<\/i>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.musicfilmweb.com\/2011\/05\/michael-stipe-vic-chesnutt-docmentary\/\" target=\"blank\"><i>MusicFilmWeb<\/i><\/a> reports that Michael Stipe has signed on as executive producer. The film is to be released later this year.<\/li>\n<li>In 1986, Black Flag went on tour with Painted Willie and Gone. Painted Willie&#8217;s drummer, David Markey, filmed it. He&#8217;s now made his tour documentary <i>Reality 86&#8217;d<\/i> <a href=\"http:\/\/vimeo.com\/23499919\" target=\"blank\">available to view on Vimeo<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Robert Pollard&#8217;s band Boston Spaceships will be release a new album, <i>Let It Beard<\/i> (how great is that title?), on August 2. <i>Guttersnipe<\/i> has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guttersnipenews.com\/fresh-sheet\/boston-spaceships-let-it-beard\/\" target=\"blank\">a tracklisting<\/a>, as well as a little commentary from Pollard.<\/li>\n<li>Urge Overkill have released <i>Rock &#038; Roll Submarine<\/i>, their first album in 16 years.
