Oiseaux-Temp\u00c3\u00aate<\/a>, more or less of Paris, are an ever-changing entity. An iteration of the band that includes Fr\u00c3\u00a9d\u00c3\u00a9ric D. Oberland and St\u00c3\u00a9phane Pigneul (FareWell Poetry<\/a> and Le R\u00c3\u00a9veil des Tropiques<\/a>), Ben McConnell (Beach House<\/a>, FareWell Poetry<\/a>, Marissa Nadler<\/a>) and bass clarinet virtuoso Gareth Davis (Elliott Sharp<\/a> and Robin Rimbaud (aka Scanner)<\/a>) have just released \u00c3\u0153TOPIYA?<\/em>, the follow-up to their first, self-titled record<\/a>.<\/p>\n In Oiseaux-Temp\u00c3\u00aate<\/i>, the band ventured to Greece to capture the sounds of political upheaval – not protest songs, but the ambient noises, and the sense of menace, the feeling of frustration, boiling over.
