I am not there, but, in honor of the occasion, I&#8217;ll be shining my light on some Canadian bands and musicians that I love.<\/p>\n<p>First up: <a href=\"https:\/\/youyourselfandi.bandcamp.com\/\">YouYourself&#038;i<\/a> (Daniel G\u00c3\u00a9linas), of Montr\u00c3\u00a9al, Qu\u00c3\u00a9bec, with a new EP <i>Heart Static<\/i> which I like because a) he does actually use static as an instrument! and b) the songs are like sonic puzzles, full of unusual shapes and complicated connections.
