There is a top secret headliner they&#8217;re keeping under wraps, but the announced bands are already provide more than enough excitement:  Justin Townes Earle, Dawes, Johnny Corndawg and Young Man.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Maximum Balloon is the new project from TV on the Radio&#8217;s Dave Sitek, and you can hear the song <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maximumballoon.com\" target=\"blank\">&#8220;Tiger&#8221; at the Maximum Balloon website<\/a>.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/39152-video-gorillaz-on-melancholy-hill\/\" target=\"blank\">Pitchfork reports<\/a> that Alan Moore is now out of the Gorillaz opera project due to scheduling discrepancies.  <b>Update:<\/b>  It seems <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guardian.co.uk\/music\/2010\/jun\/15\/gorillaz-alan-moore-opera\" target=\"blank\">&#8220;scheduling discrepancies&#8221; was a euphemism<\/a> for &#8220;You didn&#8217;t scratch my back, so I&#8217;m not scratching yours&#8221;.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>If you&#8217;re in the Brooklyn area Friday, you should go to the <a href=\"http:\/\/musichallofwilliamsburg.com\/event\/4584\" target=\"blank\">Suckers&#8217; record release party<\/a>.  You really should.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>The Flaming Lips have <a href=\"http:\/\/pitchfork.com\/tv\/#\/musicvideo\/6864-the-flaming-lips-the-sparrow-looks-up-at-the-machine-warner-brothers\" target=\"blank\">a video for badass tune &#8220;The Sparrow Looks Up at the Machine&#8221;<\/a>.  So. Much. Blood.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>The Black Keys do some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spinner.com\/interface\/the-black-keys\" target=\"blank\">live in-studio performances and an interview<\/a> for the Interface at Spinner.
