However, I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m a sucker for Christmas. I want to believe \u00e2\u20ac\u201c I have to believe \u00e2\u20ac\u201c that there is still a shred of relevance to it. Even if the time and events surrounding it have been bastardized by black days, cyber weeks, thoughtless gift cards, hair-graying stress over time at \u00e2\u20ac\u0153your folks or mine this year?\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, apathetic efforts in helping the truly needy, gluttony, etc., there is still something magical about The Day. Being Jewish, Himmelman clearly didn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t write this song about Christmas.
